Questions about cropping PDF pages

Can I crop all pages or only some?

Both. Draw the crop rectangle on any page, then choose apply to all pages or provide a range like 1,3,5-8. Pages outside the range keep their original size.

Does cropping remove the content outside the crop box?

No. Cropping changes the visible viewport of each page but the underlying content objects remain in the PDF structure. If you need to permanently remove hidden content, use a dedicated redaction or sanitize tool (not included here). For extra privacy, consider flattening the result before sharing.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Cropping runs in your browser using pdf-lib. The file never leaves your device.

Can I undo a crop?

Use Clear crop to remove the rectangle before saving. After download, open the original file again to start over — the original on your device is never modified.

What about pages with different sizes or rotations?

The crop rectangle you draw is scaled proportionally to each page so it lands in the same relative region. Mixed sizes are supported. For heavy layout differences across pages, preview individual pages with Previous/Next before saving.
